To assist you in preparing for your appointment, here are a few frequently asked questions. We encourage you to take a moment to review our policy and procedures. Frequently Asked Questions

What is your Cancellation/Reschedule Policy?

We understand that unexpected changes may arise. We kindly request that you provide a minimum of 48-Hours notice. In the event you reschedule or cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours of your scheduled time, you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service fee. This allows us to accommodate other clients and make necessary adjustments to our schedule. 

What happens if I do not show up for my appointment?

If you 'No Show' to your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the service fee.

What happens if I am running late to my appointment?

Please call Cris if you are running late to your appointment, she will do her best to accommodate your entire service. In an effort to maintain a smooth appointment system for everyone, if you are more than 25 minutes late to your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your service fee and your appointment will be cancelled. 

Do you have a different Cancel/Reschedule Policy for Wedding Packages?

In the event of a cancelled or rescheduled event, Cris Garrett requires a notification in writing 30 days prior to the original event date. If cancellation happens after the 30 day deadline the Client is responsible to pay the full amount. This is the only method of cancellation we will accept. The down payment is non-refundable in any case of cancellation or rescheduling of the event.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Tap to Pay, or Venmo. (No checks)

Should I wash my hair before my color/highlight appointment?

Freshly washed hair isn't required before your service. However, if you have a lot of product or build-up in your hair, please wash your hair at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

How soon after my color appointment should I wash my hair?

For best results after a color appointment, please wait 48 hours before shampooing to allow the color to set.

Do you offer Vivid or Fashion toned colors?

We specialize in natural lived in color. At this time we do not offer vivid or fashion shades. We would be delighted to assist you in exploring our other color options, and finding a perfect choice for you.

What type of hair extensions do you offer?

Healthy hair is our top priority when installing hair extensions. We specialize in beaded row extensions as they are the least damaging to the hair and helps encourage growth.

Can you remove my extensions from a previous salon?

For proper extension installation, we advise you remove any previous hair extensions not performed by our salon prior to your appointment. As there are multiple extension methods, we do not have the equipment to remove them all safely.

How often should I move up my extensions?

We recommend refreshing your color and extensions every 6-8 weeks to prevent excessive tangling or matting. Additionally, we offer a move-up service at 8 weeks to extend you another 4 weeks to help make the extensions more cost friendly. Please see Move-Up Appointment.

How do I care for my Brazilian Blowout?

For the longevity of the Brazilian Blowout Service, we recommend repeating your service every 3-6 months and to only use sulfate free Shampoos and Conditioners. 

*Please invest in quality Shampoo & Conditioner.*

Low quality brands (Pantene, Garnier, Suave, etc.) can fade color, strip smoothing treatments, and add a wax build up to your hair.

How do I maintain my Color and/or Highlights?

To preserve your hair color and/or highlights, please use color safe Shampoo & Conditioner. For the overall health of highlighted hair, we also recommend adding a quality Leave-In and Deep Conditioner to your hair care routine.
